UWA is coming to AOG 2018

March 5, 2018

It’s that time of year again. The Australian Oil and Gas (AOG) Conference and Convention will land at the Perth Convention Centre from 14-16 March 2018. UWA will be out in force at the event, with a stand showcasing many of the members of the Oceans Institute, the Ocean Graduate School, the OFFshore ITRH and Australian Centre for LNG Futures.

Come down and meet members from the UWA research community who’ll be highlighting their work in the areas of marine science, long subsea tie-backs and all aspects of offshore floating facilities. Learn more about the new Oceans Graduate School, including details of the upcoming Masters of Ocean Leadership. The stand will be located adjacent to the NERA Technology and Skills Hub.

Over at the conference venue UWA will be well represented with OFFshore ITRH CI Melinda Hodkiewicz  co-chairing a panel discussion on The workforce of the future as part of the Collaboration Forum.  In addition OFFshore ITRH Director Phil Watson will be speaking at the Collaborating to gain knowledge session, Oceans Institute members Terry Griffiths and Julian Partridge will be speaking on Subsea decommissioning and Myra Keep will be speaking at the first Monitoring and inspection session all taking place during the Subsea Forum.

Should be a great event – check out https://aogexpo.com.au/ for further details. Looking forward to meeting many of you at the UWA showcase stand.
