Chief Investigator - Project Two

Professor Paul Taylor holds the Chair in Ocean Engineering at UWA and works in the area of offshore and coastal engineering, with particular interests in the nonlinear physical processes that occur in extreme waves on the open sea, the long-term statistics of storms with extrapolation to design conditions, the interaction of steep waves with structures, and climate variability. Paul is one of the Chief Investigators for the OFFshore ITRH Wave-Structure Interaction project stream.
